Chinampa Experience in Xochimilco

Service Description

This unique experience, held only on weekends, will allow us to visit a chinampa (artificial island) to see the crops cultivated by the master chinamperos. A traditional Xochimilco cook will be waiting for us on one of the islands. We will have a workshop on making tamales and atole with pinole, followed by a meal together, enjoying the scenery, legends, and life stories of our hosts. Includes per person: Tamales. Pinole atole. Fresh water.
